This 5-Step Simulation™ is intended for anyone who may be exposed to disrespectful behavior on the job—whether that behavior comes from customers, co-workers, or managers. This simulation may also be of special value for supervisors and managers as they try to respond to issues of disrespect brought to them by upset employees. In this simulation, the learner faces the challenge of what to do when someone else is the target of the disrespectful behavior, what to do when it is directed at oneself, and how to escalate the issue appropriately and effectively.
